Soori Upendra Narasimhan from Chennai.
He is performing many musical concerts all over India for more than 20 years. And also accompanied as a Leading Mridangist with many prestigious live performances. Years of rigorous training & sadhana brought perfection and glamour to his stage performances and by the age of 18 years, he was recognized by the Tamilnadu State Government, Department of Culture and was awarded the “Vadhya Kalaimani” Title in the year 2003.
Now, he has started "Mahaperiyava School of Mridangam" in Chennai which is open to everyone who is interested to learn the art of playing Mridangam.
In the year 2020, Soori has been awarded by Bharathi Thalaimurai as "Excellent Student Development Organizer" (Uyarntha Manithan Awards 2020)
